The title track is something of a waiting game, a blend of squeaky percs and rounded bass that slowly introduces a blanket of windy synth pads in from the ether, only to pull them right back out as the approaching cluster of perky rhythms makes its anticipated return. While, “Behind a Yellow Line” resides within dancefloor territory, b-side track “22 Spots” is more of a slow-burner, keeping the intensity at a minimum with its subtle synthwork and neatly crafted polyrhythmic groove.
